Associate/VP Equity Corporate Strategy

Supporting the Strategy and Development team of a global investment bank

Responsibilities:

• Develop market studies, competitive analysis, benchmarking, gap analysis and best practices

• Define and present to senior management proposals for new business development projects

• Manage steering committees to ensure on-time delivery of projects and strategic development initiatives

• Analyze and refine business strategy, ongoing resource allocation and resource effectiveness assessment

• Plan for a smooth strategy implementation by jointly planning the execution phase with the Product Development team.

Requirements:

• MBA from top tier institution with 3-5 years overall experience

• 2 - 3 years relevant financial services industry experience in Strategy Development

• Must have 1-3 years post / pre MBA experience within top tier consulting firm (Bain, McKinsey, Boston Consulting, Booz), ideally within a non-M&A financial services practice area

• General understanding of financial services and capital markets is a must

• Leadership of strategy and decision-making, and team cross-functionally (marketing, sales, product and operations)
